Overview
Wirths & Werres in Wuppertal-Cronenberg mills on 3 and 5 axes, turns up to Ø 350 mm, and handles EDM and grinding. Lungmetall in Kottenheim mills large parts with up to 1,500 kg table load and turns with a sub-spindle up to Ø 400 × 800 mm.
Both sites use bar feeders for series. Typical parts are shafts, bushings, flanges, base plates, fixtures and tool parts.

Do you machine to drawing?
Yes. Send us a drawing or 3D model with material and quantity.
How large can milled parts be?
On 5 axes up to 630 × 500 × 508 mm, on 3 axes at Lungmetall with around 1,450 × 660 × 635 mm travel.
Can parts be hardened?
Yes. Gas nitriding and plasma hardening are coordinated by Wirths & Werres via established partners.
