Laser cutting takes place at Lungmetall in Kottenheim near Mayen, in the Mayen-Koblenz district, and at C.E. Schneckenflügel in Edewecht near Oldenburg. Lungmetall delivers laser parts and blanks with its own fleet.

What thicknesses can you laser cut?
On the 12 kW fibre laser at Lungmetall we cut steel and stainless steel up to 30 mm and aluminium up to 25 mm. Sheet size is up to 3,000 × 1,500 mm.
Do you cut blanks?
Yes. C.E. Schneckenflügel cuts blanks from Ø 40 to 3,000 mm in 2 to 60 mm thickness, by laser or by plasma with a 2D bevel unit.
Can laser parts be processed further?
Yes. Press braking, punching, milling, welding and finishing are done at Lungmetall in the same plant. You receive ready-to-install parts instead of blanks.
Do you engrave rating plates?
Yes. Lungmetall engraves and marks rating plates, identification and logos on metal and plastic.
