FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How large can milled parts be?
Wirths & Werres mills parts up to 630 × 500 × 508 mm on 5 axes. Lungmetall mills on 3 axes with around 1,450 × 660 × 635 mm travel and up to 1,500 kg table load.
Up to what diameter do you turn?
Wirths & Werres turns up to Ø 350 mm, Lungmetall with sub-spindle up to Ø 400 × 800 mm. Both sites use bar feeders for series.
Do you make one-off parts?
Yes. We make one-offs, prototypes and series, from precision parts and fixtures to shafts, flanges and base plates.
